Its Ireland! you cannot guarantee what the weather will be like if you are planning an outdoor wedding.

Most venues will have a backup plan and have an indoor alternative if the weather on your Wedding day is not playing ball with your plans!
Check with your coordinator and run through what your options might be and pick the backup plan that works best for you.
But if you decide to just go for it expect to get wet! But that does not have to be such a bad thing if you embrace the madness and work with your photographer and videographer to make the best of a bad days weather.
Rain can make for some spectacular photos and video content and umbrellas are great accessories for great images. Check if you vendors provide umbrellas for emergencies and if not perhaps source some yourself just in case!
Most venues will make the call early on the day to allow for relocating chairs and decor to the alternative location indoors.
Don't let it upset you its one of the things you cant control so trust in your handpicked team of professionals to help you to still get the day you want.
I have done weddings in the rain as seen in the slideshow above. I always have a change of clothes in the car so getting damp is no big deal! Things to bear in mind are possible issues with PA systems and microphones also candles. I provide lanterns for outdoor ceremonies if needed to allow for wind and even rain!
